With 'The Hidden Dub EP' we are honored to present the first collaboration of label head Marc Poppcke and Berlin newcomer Luis Hill. Luis is the second man behind Crossfrontier Audio and first of all responsible for the press and booking department. Furthermore, he's also a really talented DJ who enjoyed many European gigs in the last year. You should definitely keep an eye out for him in the future! As both Marc and Luis work together every day, it was only a matter of time until their collaboration extended to the studio. The duo is a combination of Marc's more melodic solo productions and Luis' preference for clear percussions and strong bass lines. The result? Three deep and dance floor oriented tracks with a powerful groove for the prime time of the night. The cherry on top is served by Boss Axis in the form of a remix of 'Leap in the Dark'. The German duo from Suhl is well known for their releases on Solee's Parquet Recordings and their distinctive melodic style. They reduce the original to its minimalistic elements and then rebuild the track, adding great amounts of harmony and passion. All in all another demonstration of how Crossfrontier Audio tries to avoid musical genres, while keeping listeners alert and curious. This EP should not be missing in any DJs bag.
