MOODS is the 10th album for the Detroit Music Award Winner. This CD starts with the song "Get Up" which fires up the listener to open their ears & heart to "The Blues Man" . "Somebody Knocking" is the acoustic guitar providing the background for a playful question of romance. "Mill Avenue" is dedicated to Tempe, Arizona main street of fun & music-get ready to dance. "Blues Lulluby" is a love ballad which the artist delivers with simplicity. "Sister to the Blues" is a song dedicated to friend "Miss Ella", who has been supportive of the "Blues" and of the artist. Its uplifting and a true story. "What Do You Think About That" talks about life and the lessons learned from our ancestors. Musically the guitar even asks the same question. "Take It Easy" is a romantic encounter of the slide guitar and traditional blues. it's playful and will get you to slow down and appreciate things . The artist changes the pace and performs the first of 3 acoustic piano tracks. The first is "What Went Wrong" a painful Blues Dear John letter scenario. "No Name" is done from the perspective of one who is lost in the Haiti Earthquake. "St. James Infirmary" is the first traditional song recorded by the artist, after living in Louisiana, he felt a connection to this song which has done by the likes of Louis Armstrong, Cab Calloway , Dr John and others. It speaks of loss and of course strikes a particular "Mood", "I Broke Down" tells a true story in a humorous way about his car breakdown in Gallup, New Mexico. " What's Cooking in Olga's Kitchen" tells world about one of Michigan's fine food establishments. "With a lot of strife in Detroit and around the world , the song "Stop The Pain" makes a simple plea to mankind with a suggested solution. The artist ends on a note of appreciation with a song saying he feels fantastic because of your "Blue Magic" . MOODS hopefully will touch yours. Peace and blues PM
