For Antonia, music is about service -- to God and to those whose lives might be changed by the power of a song. Every note is given freely, with nothing asked in return other than a willingness to open one's heart and listen. It is the most generous of gifts, and the easiest to receive ... because singing came to Antonia only after her own heart had opened to God. Its value lies not in the promise of fame, but in its power to touch others as it had touched her. Antonia has a unique multicultural background. She was born in Manchester, England, her parents are from Jamaica and she was raised in Canada. She now resides in the Georgia with her husband and family. She enrolled into Oral Roberts in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and this is where her ministry began and where she discovered the gift God had given to her. As Antonia grew in the knowledge of God, so did her talent as singer, songwriter and worship leader. Her music reflects her multicultural flair through the diversity of styles, mixed with lyrics that capture God word for today's generation. Her voice is smooth, yet buoyant and funky, she sings with energy and style. Antonia's brilliantly expressive original songs, and the ever-present spirit of praise, worship, changes the atmosphere and transforms the listener. She has worked with some of the leading artists in the field, such as Ron Kenoly, Alvin Slaughter, LaMar Boschman, Darlene Zchech of Australia, Babbie Mason, and with speakers such as Anne Graham Lotz, Julie Baker of TimeOut for Women. She has traveled as far as England, Brazil, the Caribbean Islands, and beyond, on a wide range of music and worship projects. Closer to home, she serves as choir director and worship leader for a congregation of three thousand at the Victory World Church in Atlanta, and works with In Touch Ministries with Dr. Charles Stanley. The name of her ministry is Fresh Rain Ministries. It is based on the scripture, Ps 72:6, for "He shall to be like rain falling on a mown field, like showers watering the earth." This reflects Antonia's heart's desire that lives would be refreshed and renewed. The mission of Fresh Rain is "to promote and encourage growth in the knowledge and experience of authentic worship to God. A brand new Christmas CD called "The Ultimate Gift" is being released in November 2004. This project includes traditional and original Christmas songs that is a must have for everyone who loves to celebrate the season.
