简介
Algee Smith is an American rapper, singer-songwriter, actor and entrepreneur. Born on November 7, 1994 in Saginaw, MI and now residing in the south, Algee was destined to entertain and inspire the world. From banging on anything that could make a beat at age 1, to writing and recording his first song at age 11, Algee has always been musically inclined. In 2007 Algee joined Christian Youth Music Group “KF2” and earned a chance to sharpen his performance skills by performing at places such as Madison Square Garden, and Cobo Arena. In the winter of 2010 Algee recorded and released his version of Donny Hathaway’s Christmas classic “This Christmas” to mainstream urban/rhythmic radio and garnered nearly 200 spins without any concentrated promotions or marketing. Wanting to further his entertainment, Algee started to gain a strong interest in the acting world and quickly got signed to talent agencies “Joy Pervis Talent Agency” and “The Osbrink Agency”. Shortly after being signed to both talent agencies, Algee attended the Summer Intensive Improv Camp “The Groundlings” which prepared him to audition for and book such roles as ‘Spencer Yates’ on Nickelodeons TV series “How to Rock”, ‘Da Boss’ on Disney Channels “Let it Shine”, and ‘Sam’ on an episode of Lifetimes hit series “Army Wives”. With one mixtape entitled “Abstract Culture” on the Internet and a growing fan base via Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter, Algee is combing music and acting to build an undeniable career.
