I love Christmas, but...it has become a bit tired and tiring in the way our culture goes at it. It seems a bit crazy that even feeling joy seems like an added pressure during the last few months of each year. So, I wanted to create some music that might bring us back to the Story that makes this a season worth noticing and participating in. I tuned up my favorite acoustic piano and worked out some arrangements to my favorite Christmas tunes, found a few unfamiliar ones that I reworked and wrote a few new ones. Then I tried to add some beautiful vocals- not the processed "perfect" ones you hear on the radio, but hopefully the beautiful sound that you remember from a concert that left a creative impression on your heart.
