简介
Gene Pool, B.C. is based in Jacksonville Florida and has spent the last year creating their debut CD entitled "Drown". Gene Easters fronts the band (Vocals/Guitar) with fellow bandmates Keith Brown (Bass) and Doug Law (Drums) backing him up. The band, known for its Friday Night Jam Sessions at Easter Island Recording Studios, shape their music in its simplest rock form. With raw, unadulterated, energy, Gene Pool, B.C. will take you from one place to another and will make you want more. After your first encounter with this modern straight-forward rock trio, you will be asking yourself, "What did I just hear?". After your second taste, which will more than likely be after the last song, G.P./B.C. will have you in their grasps to the point of quoting lyrics and singing chorus lines. Right from the first track entitled "Stand", this two and a half minute song gets you in the mood for your 40 minute journey through a mix of Pop songs such as "I", "Blaze", and "I'll Be Gone" to the Black Sabbath-esque "EZ-2" and the pure energy driven "Grind The Gears". "Grind" also includes a harmonica intro which takes you to a place such as a Civil War Camp or an empty freight car on a classic steam powered locomotive. The most unique experience you will have while listening to this record is that each song has its own personality unlike most of the modern rock/pop music of today which all sounds the same. If you are one who enjoys something different and is tired of the way modern rock music has turned, I suggest getting this album and give it a listen or two. You may be glad you did. The reviews of the live shows are pouring in! If you haven't checked out The Gene Pool, B.C. live...you should.
