Ci2i is an Experimental World Beat Fusion Project. To us, every composition is an adventure. Our inspiration comes from combining all forms of music styles and musicians from all walks of life. Are intention is to push the boundaries of what is possible in all forms of music composition. Our mission is to follow our curiosity in search of surprise at every turn. With a focus on World Beat Rhythms, Ci2i has exploded on to the World Music scene with an edgy, often Psychedelic and Avant-garde Classical approach to World Jazz Rock Fusion. Inspired by the great Jazz and Blues Masters of the past, this experimental collection of music was composed LIVE in the recording studio, guided only by intention. Each track of music is a thought experiment on the relationship between intention and synchronicity. The music is the result of the synchronicity triggered by each experiment. All of the musicians took part in a collective improvisational approach to Jazz Fusion World Beat expression. Tim Crawford is the Producer, Composer, Arranger and Writer of each thought experiment. Our approach to music composition is totally experimental, guided only by the five pillars of the Sacred Music Tradition - Intention, Imagination, Emotion, Curiosity and Love. The purpose of our musical intention is driven by our love of world beat rhythms and a sacred love of surprise in all forms of music. The result is art in action and an authentic thumb print of the souls of the musicians in real time, capturing imagination and creativity in its purist form, and a dialog between curiosity and surprise in a river of timeless beauty. Tim Crawford's background is in experimental music, theater and film activism. His appreciation of music styles includes avant-garde classical to jazz fusion, to world beat and psychedelic rock fusion. All forms and styles of music are on the table in this body of work.
