Tryenyse would describe her music as soulful and real, blending inspirational gospel lyrics with an R & B flare. The diverse audience she appeals to is always surprising. For a time she thought she knew who to target her music to, however every time she sings someone she would not expect comes up to her and tells her “wow, those lyrics really hit my heart,” or “it makes me reflect on life in a way I’ve never done before.” She love to write about real life and connect it in a way that allows people to feel and be changed in all sorts of ways. Music connects human beings in a way that you can’t describe. Tryenyse finished her first independent solo project, a collection of songs that is reflective of her personal life, journey and experiences. She is also involved and works with youth in her community, building life and leadership skills. She has a heart for young people, especially girls, knowing what girls go though in the process of being a teenager. She is also currently finishing up her music business degree at McNally Smith College of Music. She has a passion to write for others, coach and start an indie label in the Twin Cities that is known for real and relevant gospel music. Singing and music was really influential in her life, it was an outlet that really helped her in many ways. Because of that in her own life, she wants to be able to connect her music with the world. She also wants to connect with as many people and youth in her community who have a passion for arts and music. She is grateful for her husband Stacey, the Theo-Soul crew who serves as her backing band and background vocals. She is currently working on releasing an all hip-hop album as well as an urban worship album.
