简介

BIO- LUCAS HOGE Lucas was born in the small town, population 50, of Hubbell Nebraska. The entire Hoge family loves to sing and at a young age Lucas found his calling. In college Lucas joined a praise and worship band called “Xtreme Devotion” and soon Lucas was playing and singing for a variety of different bands. He moved more into mainstream, but not ever leaving his Christian roots behind, with a band called “ Southern Cross” a country rock band that played festivals and fairs across Nebraska and Kansas and opened for John Michael Montgomery at Harrah’s Casino. Lucas soon recruited his own band “Borderline” performing a variety of country, country-rock and gospel music to sold-on-him crowds. The Hoge family and the entire town of Hubbell was in such support of Lucas following his dreams that they raised $2500.00 for him. Lucas packed up his 1994 Dodge Ram pickup and moved to the Country Music Capital of the World-Nashville. It wasn’t long before Lucas was playing at the world famous Bluebird Cafe. Since then he has performed in the round at Douglas Corner, Hotel Preston, The Broken Spoke, Hall of Fame Lounge, the Alabama Grill, Tootsies Orchid Lounge and in numerous other venues. In 2002 Lucas released his debut CD “In My Dreams”. Fall 2004 Contemporary Christian artist Johnny Andrews recorded Lucas’s song “ Get the Door”, co-written with his friend Eddie Killgallon. Lucas got his first major television cut on the T.V show “Smallville” on the WB with the song “If Only I Could” that he performed and co-wrote with Corey Barker and Brent Anderson. Lucas has recently finished his second album “DIRT” and is getting a great response from a number of radio stations throughout the U.S. US 103 Country flew him out to perform at their listener appreciation party in 2006. Lucas also made the top 5 most requested songs, “DIRT” coming in at number 3. “DIRT” is also currently hanging on in the top 20 Independent Country songs in Europe. Lucas was just nominated for “Male Country Singer/Songwriter of the Year” for “Dirt” and twice for “Male Contemporary Christian Singer/Songwriter of the Year” with “Reign Over Me” and “Get The Door”, he was also nominated for “Country Album Of The Year” for “DIRT” in the 16th Annual LA Music Awards 2006.
