Over coffee, a friend and I unconsciously stumbled upon a topic that was sensitive for him, being infected with HIV and undergoing treatment. Stigma. Because of the lack of education, people simply puts a stigma on those infected. It takes a whole lot of reading, but it is a requirement because I needed to share the understanding to my children and family. So that they would know how to protect themselves. Education can protect you and me.
