Windsong is a treasured folk singer from Pacific Northwest who loves Nature. This new style of writing songs in choral arrangements comes from her many years of working in song circles,guiding and encouraging large groups of people to sing together. This song was a gift that Windsong heard from the water, inspired by the Prayers for the Water by Agnes Baker Pilgrim and the 13 Indigenous Grandmother Council. With support from Lisa Thiel this multi-layered arrangement of vocal harmonies was born. A moving musical piece with a full sound including four vocalists, guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and a rocking lead guitar makes this a unique composition. Windsong continues to write music and perform regularly.
