The Psalms Project is a band setting all 150 Psalms to music in their entirety with a modern pop/rock sound - a marriage of King David's vision with modern instrumentation and style. Songwriter/producer/guitarist/vocalist Shane Heilman started the band in 2011 with the recording of Volume 1: Psalms 1-10, which featured the talents of over 30 musicians, artists, and vocalists, including a different featured lead vocalist on every track. The band followed up with Volume 2: Psalms 11-20 in 2013. By 2016, the band had fans in over 150 nations and millions of track sales, streams, and downloads worldwide. In 2016, The Psalms Project recorded and released their third album, Volume 3: Psalms 21-30, which featured 40+ musicians including Grammy-nominated artists Phil Keaggy and Jeff Deyo.
