Vincent Probst and Nico Bulla are back on Upon.You Records! Better known to their fans and followers as the production duo that is Eins Tiefer the pair presented their label debut with their three track single „Outbreak EP“ back in late 2016 and is now ready to rock dancefloors again with new things cooked up in their studio. The opener „Dreamer“ is an outstanding take on deep, spine-tingling Tech sound for sure with its stripped down, yet hyper-tense, dark'ish atmosphere and sparse, reverbarating minor piano tones later accompanied by floating fountains of sparkling, magical, elfin beauty. Taking the „Balearic Exit“ Eins Tiefer are headed towards a massive underground fest for sure. Stripping things down to the max they're incorparating elements of Dub into a musical vision that crosses the line between Minimal Techno and TechHouse whilst providing a bit of of spice with references to tribalistic heat percussionwise as well as a highly functional lo-fi motif and a breakdown sequence that's nothing short of massive. Finally the „Isle“ provides another great example of how thought out the sonic architecture of Eins Tiefer productions really is. Once again relying on only a sparse arrangement the tune is carried by its ever meandering, wobbly and growling low end which, accompanied by minimalist beeps, seems to draw loads of inspiration from UK Bass music whilst short military snare rolls are building up heaps of tension for real.
