Michael Merrett is a former rudimental snare drummer, marching percussion instructor/arranger and member of the Mass. Judges Association for drum corps and marching bands. He was inducted into the Mass. Drum Corps and Music Educators Hall of Fame in 2015. He has previously published four books including 'Slipping Into Darkness.' On this, his third music CD, he continues to explore the diverse emotions and issues we all contend with on a daily basis. His music has been acclaimed as heart-warming, stirring and thought-provoking. This album contains a bonus track of the widely-popular seasonal tune 'Yesterday's Christmas.' All in all, a really nice third project for this visually-impaired author and songwriter. - MMA Review.
