Eashwar Subramanian's debut electronica album is an outcome of his belief that the most important thing in music is creating something that can tell a story, and at the same time intrigue the listener. Not a conventional musician by any length, Eashwar creates music that is not grounded on conventional music nuances and structures, but is grounded on the possibilities of what a good concoction of sounds can influence. The title "Electronic Gharana" literally means the house or traidition where electronic music is played, in the Hindustani language. This album is experimental and brings in a mixed flavour of sounds that range from fusion of western and eastern sensibilities to meditative listening.
