Currently based in Los angeles, California. The Trinidad Born, Sarasota, Fl native, Yungn, is among the most charismatic and spontaneous hip-hop artist of our era. ​ Yungn grew up in a single parent house hold with (Mother), two older brothers and one younger sister. ​ Growing up in the 90's drug era, many of Yungn's peers including his two older brothers would turn to the street life. The fast money seemed like a way out of the harsh reality of poverty. Some how Yungn successfully Navaigated his way through the pit falls of his adolescent years.. ​ Despite being always drawn to music, Yungn wouldn't begin to create any of his own until 2002. In the summer of 2007 while in his sophomore year of college at FAMU Yungn would begin to take his music serious. So serious that he dropped out of all college classes to pursue music full-time. ​ His knowledge of both sides of the "streets" offers a unique perspective on that life and life in general making his music very relatable. ​
