Dr.Jyotsna Srikanth started learning Carnatic music from her mother and gave her first performance at the age of nine. She has given numerous Indian carnatic solo concerts, jazz - fusion concerts and Contemporary Indian Music shows. Her violin playing has a nice blend of musical expression, emotion & technique. She has been featured in all major festivals globally. Jyotsna is also an accomplished western classical violinist too. She has played violin for nearly 200 Bollywood films She has also composed music for teleserials, dance ballets etc and has released many albums . Recently she was conferred Fellowship in Carnatic Music from the Trinity College of Music, London. She has been training numerous students in Ilford apart from conducting Indian Music workshops. She has a fusion band of her own called 'Fusion Dreams’, which performs contemporary Indian music.

In this album she has played popular Tamil devotional songs with an ensemble of Indian instruments in the light classical style.
