Recorded over the summer of 2000 and released shortly thereafter. August came about when a number of initial pieces being worked on began to share similar themes. A set of complimentary tracks were then produced specifically for this release to complete the album. Primarily dealing with issues of loss and abandonment, August remains a collection of work that is inescapable.
