A pesar de que no nací en Lima, toda mi vida transcurrió entre sus grises y raras veces azules cielos y la aprendí a querer, con su humedad envolvente y su fresca brisa marina, su prisa elegante y bullangera, sus tiempos de silencios, alegrías y tristezas y sobre todo de sus tan variados y eternos sabores. Conocí también Costa, Sierra y Selva del Perú, me nutrí musicalmente de la alegría y hospitalidad de su gente. Hoy el sueño es realidad gracias a la generosidad de mis amigos que a lo largo de estos 25 años me han ayudado a crear estas hermosas canciones con sabor 100 % peruano y mi soñado disco de Música Peruana y Católica Peruano + Católico = Padre Diego vió la luz.
