'Conversations' is the first album release from Rya. Filled with fast, short, melodic pop songs played in a passionate, energetic way reminicant of those bands that formed the English scene in the late 70's and early 80's, these are the songs that form the backbone of the Rya's live set. The storytelling is distinctly English, touching on subjects such as the miners strike, the royal family, and pub culture, and the songs seem to all be written in the same way - in the form of conversations, hence the title. A great first album - buy it!
