简介

Song-writing team Scott Enyart and John Heaton-Jones jump head first into an experimental exploration of Rock and Roll Swamp Pop and alternative brooding, moody sounds along-side uplifting and optimistic Rock Jams. Like life itself Budaka's music is a roller coaster of moods, self-reflection, relationships and world perspective. Enyart and Heaton-Jones leave no musical stone unturned, seeking a sound that expresses an honest interpretation of their world-views. They use any and every tool in their tool box; from in your face hard rock guitar, pounding drums, electronica and celtic sounds, to unprocessed acoustic instrumentation. Enyart and Heaton-Jones attack the sound landscape with an unrelenting and fearless approach. The only concern, if any, is being cornered into one genre of sound. Their approach and process may be all over the playing field, jumping from gritty raw blues to polished symphonic arrangements. Ultimately, they take you right downtown and get to the heart of what they want to say. Listening to one song will not in any way give you an idea of the broad sweeping range of musical moods they paint. Scott Enyart writes: Music changes people. I believe that it’s more than just a cool vibe or something that makes your feet move. It’s more like it moves your soul. You gotta stay true to yourself. I don’t think any of us could see Elton John or The Boss in a cubicle! Heaton-Jones states: I feel we are more like a combination of an antenna and a mirror, simply receiving and reflecting what the universe and life gives us. Music, sound and vibration is the root of all communication and possibly everything. Sometimes life, ego, your mind or your experiences have you vibrating in anger and then sometimes in a calm blissful state of love or ecstasy. Trying to control those vibrations or moods is equally challenging as trying to create an album or band sound that is glued to one genre. It would be an untruthful artistic expression to lock into one sound, at least it would be for me. We just write songs by intuition and instinct. It’s not rocket science. It’s rock and roll. It’s just art. It’s just a process. Hopefully, we are getting better at the process. Hopefully, we can inspire someone, and this is not just a rock-hard ego trip. The songs flow from us like water. I do not see it ever ending. Rock ON!
