‘I am Australian’ is about childhood innocence and inspiring voices from the past. It is the story of a small boy who arrived here alone from a distant land to start a new life. It is recognising that the common ground that we share is a place to meet as friends and leave old differences behind. It is about caring for our beautiful and fragile environment. It is reconciling with the First Australians who can teach us so much about the spirituality of our amazing country.
