João Mansur gathers Beatles psychedelia, Tom Zé's irreverence, Arthur Verocai's delicacy and harmonies of Clube da Esquina in songs seasoned with falsetto. It is Afro-Brazilian polyrhythm, swing, whisper, silence and noise. Everything in its place, but disorganized.

Findings, mismatches, convictions and doubts form his debut album as a solo singer. “Trombada” is João Mansur 100%, from the drums to the voice of the high notes, from the bass to the keyboard; the acousitc and electric guitar, and the lo-fi electronic beats.
