With roots in the Glasgow Indie/Alternative scene, the Stereo Vandals came from a legacy of electronica-tinged indie-rock band Phelix Culpa, dragging computer rigs, synths and samplers onto stages across the country, playing everywhere from Glasgow’s Rock venue The Cathouse to the infamous indie-pantheon King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut.

Enter the co-consiprators; Krist McKenna and Darrell Gough, Vandal K and Vandal D respectively. Hailing from Glasgow, the pair learned their craft over many years with influences ranging from Jurassic 5 and The Chemical Brothers through to French Nu-Disco wunderkinds Justice, Venice’s own Bloody Beetroots and as far afield as Brazilian 808-Maniacs Bonde Do Role.
