We are Heat Of Damage: a Hard Rock/Metal band from Folsom, California. We draw influence from many different genres such as hardcore punk, blues, thrash metal, and alternative metal. We write original music about a variety of topics, ranging from broad social issues to intense personal experiences. Songs such as Judgment Day, Little Miss Hill and Watch You Burn deal with the difficulties of interpersonal relationships, whereas songs such as Fade Away and Accessory deal with the topics of desertion and suicide. Other songs such as Any Other Way, Veil of Authority, and The Greeding Party deal with broader issues such as drug addiction, police brutality and corporate greed. Lastly, songs such as Osprey Drive and Heaven deal with the subjectivity of so-called socially unacceptable behavior and the taboo. Overall, our album “Open Fire” is a reflection of our personal experiences and observations, backed by pounding drums, thundering bass, shredding guitars and howling vocals.
