Weirdos After Midnight is an attempt to start the ball rolling on figuring out some way to get the Symphony on MTV. Rock videos seem to be mostly about "weirdos," so this song tries to suck up to the whole art form of weirdoism hoping in essence that all the weirdos will go for it since it is about them and eventually find its way onto MTV. Since this includes almost everybody, there is excellent potential for success. There are all kinds of weirdos actually, far too many to enumerate. Most however, express their individualism in one or more of the following traditional categories: art, music, fashion, sex, politics and religion. The lyric acknowledges most of these avenues of expression, validating their essence with the universally accepted qualifier "everything in moderation" (... being weird is alright, but how weird it depends.)
