Robi Kahakalau “All I Want” “All ,I Want” clearly displays Robi's aloha for diversity, harmony and her talent as versatile vocalist and skilled linguist. It also exhibits Robi's awesome talent for harmonizing, well-known to her live audiences everywhere. Even more amazingly, this CD exposes her talent as budding arranger and producer. Sistah Robi's new production again involves her family, Brother John plays drums on several songs, Sister Ku composed the CD's Hawaiian renditions and nieces I'ini (7) and Polani (5) provide background vocals. Finally, as usual, Robi ends the CD with a Hawaiian Swing arranged and recorded .by her father Bob Kahakalau at Capitol' Records in New York in 1958, which also features her Uncle William on the steel guitar. It's all in the Ohana, and with musical roots stretching many decades, Sistah Robi has again proven her awesome talent, for which we all love her.
