CRUELS is a San Francisco producer Giovanni Giusti who is known as part of the electronic duo The Limousines. Now, he’s bringing his own solo stuff and it’s really really good. His proper debut solo single is called “Give It Up” and includes the smoothly delicious and mystical vocals of Brighton-based singer Veiga Sanchez, commonly known as Salt Ashes. “Give It Up” is a fantastic deep house-infused gem. About the collaboration Giusti said: "It came together really well. With only Salt Ashes sending me vocals over email, we didn’t need to get in the studio together because of how easily it flowed. I wanted a tropical-kalimba inspired instrumental and she created the finished pieces to it. I feel it’s garage break-beat elements and pitched down vocals evoke more emotion than just a straight up house track."
