STC's new CD Glamour Puss began in the dead of Winter 2008. Weary of the oppressive Detroit cold , Jonathan and Paul huddled in the basement over an electric keyboard to review songs; some old and some new. Songs were completed and lyricized and some hit the cutting room floor. STC soon inlisted the help of drummer Miikka Eerola who, from Finland, understood the project. Bassist Chris Henderson, from an ad on Craigslist, rounded out the group. STC started tracking at Online Bands Studio, in West Bloomfield, Michigan, in February 2009. Joe Purrenhage was of invauable assistance running the board, offering his input and exercising tremendous patience. In early 2010, the mixing and mastering was complete and viola, Glamour Puss--a totally sarcastic name given the unglamourous nature of the group members. Yet, youthful influences--Bowie, Roxy Music, T Rex, Mott the Hoople--were "glam" bands, so there you go. We hope you enjoy.
