SANKTUARY profile SANKTUARY is an electronic project formed in Tokyo, Japan, in 2012 by Ami Hirai(vocalist/composer), Noriaki Kihara(DJ/Composer/Producer) and K. Tahara(composer). Ami Hirai has released some solo albums covering a variety of styles, including Jazz, Bossa Nova and Popular Music. As well as recording her own music, she has done several production works for other artists. Noriaki Kihara has been searching for some creative sound as DJ, Producer and Composer. He has established his own label Que sais-je? Records in 2013 and been producing upcoming artists. K. Tahara has been running a rehearsal studio “BUNKE in Kichijoji, Tokyo and supporting a variety of musicians and artists. He has started his career as a composer up on forming the SANKTUARY. Those three musicians met at Studio Bunke, and their music is created in this studio.
