Reunited in 2014, Purusa released the long shelved 2003 LP Repair in 2015, cracking the FMQB top 200 with the single 'Breaking Down'. Now the alt rock veterans have shuffled the lineup moving long time drummer Andrew Marshall to bass and bringing in Andy King to handle the drums, providing a strong rhythm section to back prolific blues/rock guitarist Zach Hinkelman and singer/songwriter Kris Kirkman. The Soundtrack EP marks the first studio recordings for the band since 2003, and features the never before released live favorite 'Fall Behind' as well as brand new compositions with the pop/rock title track and the epic blues/rock closer 'Free'. Soundtrack represents more than just a return for the band, it is the foundation for a new beginning.
