简介
This band was one of the premier groups at the world famous Flora-Bama Lounge for nearly 15 years. We played every month and if you were a visitor at the Bama, you probably heard us play sometime. The music is unique and original, or original arrangements of old tunes. This CD is the only project the band ever did, and since B.W. (our drummer) died, it is the only one that will ever be made. The music is remindful of the old Ry Cooder stuff; the ballads are Randy Newmanesque; there's a bluegrass tune, and one that sounds like Greg Allman wrote it. It will add a great deal of variety to your music collection and in my humble opinion, at $12.97 it is an exceptional buy. To those of you who got to visit the Bama before Ivan blew it away, this CD will bring back a flood of memories. For those who never made it to the Bama, take time to listen to John D. Loudermilk's "Bad News" and the ballad "The House at the End of the Road". Thank you, Rock Killough Band Leader
