Release Info: Welcome to D'Amour Recordings, the new label from Amber D'Amour for all electro / house music lovers. Amber for the last 8 years has been making her name in hard dance as Amber D. In that field she has been at the top for some time mixing compilations for the likes of Tidy Trax and Ministry Of Sound plus being the first female DJ to ever release a 4 track EP on Tidy Trax, but in recent months her love of house music and her constant desire to do more in the industry has driven her to setting up this label and to take the house scene by storm as well. So to get things moving and with it proving that her best-seller EP on Tidy was no fluke, Amber delivers the first installment on what is set to be a gargantuan release. Leading the way is the superb 'Give It Up', a catchy big room production which is compounded superbly by Amber on vocals which gives the track a certain edge to it. She uses some nice key changes throughout and a superb meaty riff to make it a dance floor hit if ever there was one! On the flip we have the very cool 'Good Golly'. A more contemporary and minimal production which uses a very memorable and smile jerking vocal. This track really shows Amber's love for diversity in the music she makes and plays and with it her attention to detail rounding off the first part of the EP to great effect.
