There's plenty of good music here, excellent productions like the opener "EE5," which hits listeners with several sets of mechanical percussion, digital pulses, and out-of-joint beats that sound closer to trip-hop than straight-ahead techno. "NNø" begins as a beatless piece with experimental underpinnings, but quickly goes haywire (yes, in a good way) with bursts of radical programming.
