_The Story of Sweetbleeders Origins-- 1999-a large concrete box in Phoenix, AZ was sweating on the inside...Odours and secretions spread from the walls into an old piano..and through the skin of his hands, infected the one who played upon its keys with fever dreams of the sounds of tractors turning into antelopes and wild rabbits. The sound of these dreams, necessarily abridged, are here translated into songs and sonic adventures of endurable duration by Robin Vining and Mark Erickson and with the aid of other individuals with talents and reasonings sympathetic to our own and theirs. _The Players- Robin Vining--Primary singer and writer- makes sounds with guitars, keyboards, pianos, anything that can be blown into or struck soundly. Enjoys coffee and putting things in his eyes. Mark Erickson-- sonic manipulations-makes electrons bleed honey and hot vinegar. Plays with cats. guitars and keyboards and voice. John DeLaCruz--Drums sets traps. Chews thoroughly. Does not enjoy cheese. Mike Montoya-- Bass vulgarities. Collects dogs and band flyers. Jesse Maxwell--blowhard horn. Lives exclusively on valve oil. Collects mothballs. _The Action_ Sweetbleeders' first release,_Murder, go home._ is a collection of ballads of crisis.
