When producing this track I wanted the warmth of Nat King Cole and the beautiful lyrical interpretation of Frank Sinatra. I believe that was achieved in the wonderful lyrical interpretation by one of Canada's best known jazz vocalists Michael Danso - the only Canadian jazz vocalist who had his own jazz TV show on CHCH TV that was syndicated all over Canada. Certain lines in the lyric are personal and the line "a glance that shimmers in a pool of ecstasy," refers to my wife's beautiful eyes.
