Valerie Smith is an award-winning, grammy nominated vocalist that crosses styles of music; country, rock, r&b, folk, roots, dance, swing to bluegrass music! Missouri native, she brought her music to Nashville and enjoyed making music with some of the top musicians and artists in the industry. Valerie debut on the "Grand Ole Opry" , with country music legend, Charlie Louvin to promote her first project, "Patchwork Heart". Country, Americana, roots and bluegrass listeners took notice to her smokey, sweet, soulful voice and began to attend her concerts. She has travelled around the United State, United Kingdom, Europe and Canada to perform on large festival stages to soft-seat theaters. Earning a Music Education and Vocal degree from University of Missouri, she developed a program for the International Bluegrass Music Museum and taught schools from the United States to Austria!
