"Take Me To The East" presents a new form, shape and sound of where Dance/House music is going. Merging sounds primarily known as Afro-Tech/House in Electronic Dance Music with elements popularly found in South Africa's worldwide breakout genre of Amapiano. The song is inspired by the global phenomenon of South African music between 2019 - 2022 and the contribution made by artists from the East of Johannesburg, which is where the enthralling duo The Odus is from. "Take Me To The East" features the illustrious Michael Dangerous from Grammy Award-winning band Off The Meds; and is taken off *The Odus* ' upcoming debut EP "Voodoo Gospel".
