In Renaissance Man, Jim Berry proves it's never too late to pursue your musical ambition. A successful broadcaster for many years, Jim has combined his gift of writing lyrics and passion for music into a debut CD that has been described as both exciting and inspiring.

A Chicago native, Jim is an avid dancer who brought Chicago Style steppin' to the state of Florida. His love of that dance is reflected in his music, especially on the the tracks "Lockdown", and "Makin' Me Sentimental."

However, Renaissance Man goes beyond that genre. "Voices from the Past" is a powerful, fast-paced track with biting lyrics to match. "Boomerang" is a track that will appeal to Jazz and R & B lovers. "Soul Man" is an earthy track cut from that old school cloth, and "Someone I didn't know" is a very personal story that many listeners have related to.
