It's been a rough few years for T-Model Ford. After some major health issues and vacating a condemned home, medical bills and living expenses were becoming overwhelming. Upon hearing the unpleasant news about his friend, guitarist/singer/songwriter/producer Ken Valdez decided to help ease the burden of "a man who has all [his] respect" by recording this EP. Valdez pays homage to the last of the true Mississippi Hill Country bluesmen with this tribute/benefit EP which consists of four classic T-Model Ford favorites done with the fiery style Valdez is known for and one new song written by both Valdez and the legend, T-Model Ford himself. Jack Daniel Time - A Tribute To The Legendary T-Model Ford is a no-holds-barred blues barrage! All proceeds from the sales of this album (singles, etc.) go directly to T-Model Ford and his wife Miss Stella to help them in their moment of need.
