This is the second solo album, before ...and they did live's release with the full band As hard as it is to classify this genre(s) of music, the album "Under The Father's Gun" still inherits "Wild Caught, Farm Raised"s Western Surf Rock feel. In fact, there is more Western in this than the previous album, featuring "The Gunslinger (Intro)" as well as "The Gunslinger (Roland Go and Get Your Gun". But aside from Mr. King's inspirations, most of the songs are recreations of Harrier's Of Discord's previous band: THE WHOLE SHA-BANG, a garage, riot grrl, piece of shit that focused on satirical under-discussed subjects, i.e. "MasterDISGUSTation", "Transendentalism", and "From Greed". The flagship of the album, though the gunslinger songs could very stand tall, is in fact "Under The Father's Gun", the inspiration for the album which delves into the world of religion and why Harriers Of Discord will never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever stand for it. In light of the album's indubitable satire, the songs are fun, catchy, and available to all age's ears and if you gave it a chance, you just may find yourself in accordance.
