The kings of disco metal are back - more quiet than hell!

Their first release "Stimmungsattacke" (2006) is a hot pot of genre quotations and quirky sounds. Their second CD "Maps of the ancient sea kings" (2013) is a wacky trip through the realms of rock, funk, soul, metal and punk. Uncle Sally's Magazine put it this way: "As if Zappa did a musical version of 'Futurama' instead of 'Joe's Garage'".

Now the four Berlin musicians keep things a little more quiet: For their EP "Naked Zorx" they took six of their songs and stripped them down to the bare essentials: guitar, upright bass, cajon and choral singing, the band's trademark, is all they need to transform the freaky disco metal from outer space into catchy unplugged tunes for a night at the campfire. Of course, this band has to live up to their reputation ("As wacky as Albert Einstein’s hair." Global Metal Apocalypse), so don't expect the usual verse/bridge/chorus arrangements. Captain Zorx stick true to themselves and their way of exploring the darkest realms of music even when the plug is pulled!
