His Father Cephus Powell is a well known local artist singer-songwriter, who taught his son most importantly about GOD, which help build character for the young artist. Shawn was taught how to play the guitar at a young age. He is a very well respected young man in Kansas City, Mo. for those who know him. He is a multitalented artist who produces and writes his own material.
