Previously on Defcon with his collab with Conrad Winged, "Mona Lisa", Ascania returns with a new solo single entitled "Folding Space." The original is an uplifting, melodic affair, with a dreamy breakdown combining hypnotic vocal samples with an infectious lead riff, showing why Ascania is one of the most consistent trance producers around. First up on remix duties is Discrete with his first of several appearances on Defcon this year! He shows us what to expect, delivering a filthy bassline to back up the massive lead. Rounding things off is Defcon favourite Amitacek, who provides a dark, driving take on the track, blending subtle techy elements with the energy of the arps to devastating effect.
