The Renaissance is an alternative rock band based out of San Diego California. Members include Emmanuel Walker the lead singer and piano player, Mitchell Elliott the bass, cello and backing vocals player and Brennen O Malley the drummer. Mitchell and Emmanuel met at the University of San Diego. The two began to perform at open mics and local music venues. They started a two man band but when things grew more serious they added drummer Brennen O Malley who attends the Musicians institute in Los Angeles California.
