Stories In Trance proudly presents the 44th release - Tibbs EP, in honour of a dear friend we lost earlier this year. This eclectic four track release features three tracks from the finest Stories in Trance artists plus a debut for newcomer Lev Rubel. First up we have Lithuanian White Motion (Rytis Gedvilas) with the brilliant Mind Station. Rytis first appeared for us in autumn 2011 with his remix of DJ Faisi's You & Me (SIT #12) and has since had a string of great tracks and remixes including his first original Oxygen (SIT #22) and his follow up solo track Solis (SIT #28). Mind Station is a subtle, ever evolving and engaging piece of trance sure to enhance White Motion's ever developing reputation. Secondly we have another Stories In Trance powerhouse whom we hold in the best possible regard; America's Derrick Meyer with his fourth release - Remembrance. His solo projects consist of The Last Days Of Summer (SIT #3), Final Goodbye (SIT #23) and his epic Utopia EP (SIT #42) along with remixes of Miguel Angel Castellini's Shining In Warm Up (SIT #4), Ivan Sognatore's A Way Through The Woods (SIT #13) and Max Fishler's Tyrannosaur (SIT #21) proving he is a producer to be reckoned with. Once again he shows what can be achieved in a concise piece of trance. As the name suggests, Remembrance is an emotional yet energetic and flowing, uplifting track, constantly changing with a captivating lead melody backed with diverse and ever interesting additions. This track grabs you right from the start and doesn't let go; Remembrance is simply beautiful. Up third we have the debut from Ukrainian Lev Rubel with Insomnia. Hailing from Donetsk, Lev makes his first appearance one to remember. Insomnia has a superbly well crafted lead melody backed with a powerful bass line, brilliant mids and a sublime atmosphere. A fine start to Lev's production career and expect lots more from Eastern Europe's newest trance producer. Lastly we have a new remix of Ivan Sognatore's Buena Vida by one of our absolute favourite producers, Poland's Max Stealthy. Since getting his break with us all the way back in autumn 2011 with his stunning debut Charge EP (SIT #14) right through to his three track monster Earthquake EP (SIT #40), the supremely talented Max 'Stealthy' Szalko has lit up the Stories In Trance catalogue on a frequent and consistently pleasing basis. We say it often enough, but in truth his work says it all. Max seems to have endless imaginative scope and wide ranging talent to match as he has taken several differing creative approaches to both his originals and remixes to put out plenty of interesting and high quality offerings. Released early in 2012 Buena Vida (SIT #16) has been one of our most highly regarded releases and after receiving the promo Max was keen to offer his own interpretation of this stunning track. Max's usual pace, power and energy lends itself to the already evocative and unforgettable lead melody. This is yet another Stealthy remix to be reckoned with. Stories In Trance aims to uncover the most talented and imaginative new producers and team up with some of the more established names in the scene to work together in evolving the sound. This release sticks firmly to our philosophy of showcasing a diverse range of sounds within trance and we hope you'll enjoy the variety of imagination and creativity on offer in this EP.
