It was James and John Amato, the dance team formally known as "The Review" that formed one of the hottest duos of the late 90's They have danced for artist on Billboard's Pop and R&B dance charts such as Jaya, Johnny O, Connie and Stevie B. They also danced for Sheila E in two of her video's "Sex Cymbal", and "Dropping like Flies". But John wanted more than to be more than just a great dance team. He wanted to be a strong singing group as well. John combined his vocal, strong writing and dance abilities with that of Trini Valdez, and yet another total entertainment package was formed "The Wild Boys". The Wild Boys a latin dance group was signed to TriWorld Records in 1997. The group finished recording their first album at Olivo Recording Studios in 1999. The group was performing at a Summer Bash concert in Texas with Wild Orchid, when TriWorld Records landed a six album three year deal, with distribution through BMG U.S. Latin. When tragedy struck the group. "With the tragic death of our bother James Amato our strength grew and continues to grow to be that total entertainment package". The "WILD BOYS" have performed with groups like Wild Orchid,C&C Music Factory, Two Kool Chris at the Summer Bash In Houston Texas, Malo, Spanish Fly , Josette, Johnny Z, at the Latin Festival in San Francisco, the well known Zapp and Roger at the Super Low Rider Show in Phoenix Arizona. The "WILD BOYS" perform as a congealed unit, yet each member has hs own distinct, engaging satge presence. John with his unique style of Hip Hop and fancy footwork, and Trini with his hard driving dance style choreography and their enthusiasm, dedication, confidence and explosive dance team, the "WILD BOYS" have a commitment to putting on great shows for their fans....they can constantly bring the house down. The group’s videos of “La Bomba” and “Maria” were televised nationally in on Uni-Vision’s Caliente show, the national Latin MTV.
