简介
Recorded at the end of a century in cold, damp bomb shelter, on Provo Utah's Center Street, under the now demolished Vintage House and Reception Center where Johnny had opened for Matt Nathanson before he hit it big. This record was a time stamp of the crossroads between Johnny's teenage band years and the coming of age to his 20's solo acoustic career. Jonathan Dean, aka Johnny Austin, hired Anthony W. Sermon to engineer his project and they spent the fall of 1998 making music in the low ceilinged basement bomb shelter night after night. Johnny's first full length indie release was pressed into a thousand CD's and sold over the next year. If you own one of these original CD copies you have a collectors item as it is now only available in digital form. Memories flow when listening to these first time acoustic versions of now classic songs. A staple of the Provo Utah Music Scene long before The Used, Neon Trees and Imagine Dragons blew up out of the same venues Johnny left to find a career now flourishing in Austin, Texas. These songs conjure up fond memories of a hometown long since forgotten.
