With his catchy hooks and ability to fuze pop and hip hop together, flawlessly, Hook Heavy is truly a breath of fresh air to the music industry; Born in North Carolina, where his surroundings and love for music put him on his musical journey. At the age of 12, Hook Heavy moved to the west coast with his family. While in his new surroundings, Hook Heavy created a buzz for himself performing at talent shows and open mics. Hook Heavy also started writing songs for local artists, while at the same time perfecting his craft. When he finally reached the appropriate age to perform at clubs, there was no looking back. His distinguished delivery, his ability to control the crowd and give stellar performances, demonstrates skill and poise. With his buzz steadily on the incline, Hook Heavy has been able to share stages with such acts: B.O.B, E-40, Audio Push, Macklemore and Bobby Brakins.
