The first release of any label is always special as it always indicates the beginning of a long journey - and DeepMoon Records is no exception. The fledgling trance label, an offshoot of DeepSound Records, begins this journey with an EP from none other than Canadian veteran Fred Groulx, one of the two inaugural flagship DeepMoon artists. The four-track release from the Montreal native is highlighted by "Outside the Box", a powerful stomper sure to fill any dancefloor, with hypnotic remixes from re:hab (UK), the other DeepMoon resident, as well as a proggy version by Hyline & Jaybeetrax (Germany), one of the most talented and fastest rising duos around.
